Why this name Monad? Because we are one

“Monad means that which is one, has no parts and is therefore indivisible, immaterial and indestructible. Our spirit or consciousness is a monad and we are all perfectly synchronised by the central supreme monad. The material world is simply a collection of monads . Visible things are made of collections of invisible monads. If we all group our energy, courage, positive thoughts and put them together in action, we will soon be able to see a huge visible change .
The change starts inside, the result appears outside!". Samuel Carriapen

We want a
long term change

Created since the COVID 19 crisis. We aim at addressing hunger and poverty, reaching the most vulnerable families island-wide and helping them tread their path towards self sustainability and personal development, and therefore, aspiring to a safer, healthier and more prosperous country.

We believe in a new generation of volunteers!

In Mauritius, NGO’s are mostly made of a generation that will soon leave us and we are worried about the succession and continuity. We encourage youngsters to become one and join volunteering for society, A new generation that will grow through solidarity.

About Us

It's simply about helping

We are a dynamic team of volunteers who started active and regular social work during the Covid 19 crisis.

Our main aims are to eliminate hunger and poverty by improving the living conditions, guide and follow up people living in difficult areas of the Island and our main focus is children.

We firmly believe that working hand in hand for this cause will result in a safer, healthier and more prosperous country.

Establishing a long-term strategy of supporting communities by primarily focusing on children and ensuring their empowerment through sustained and well-informed support mechanisms.

We believe in self-sustainability, hard work and personal development in a country where barriers to inequality may be overcome through common and collaborative effort.

Our vision is to forge the youth’s resilience and capacity to move forward no matter the challenges we face.

What we Do

Mission

Our main cause addressing hunger and poverty, reaching the most vulnerable families island-wide and helping them tread their path towards self sustainability and personal development, and therefore, aspiring to a safer, healthier and more prosperous country.

We also believe in the value of helping others. We believe that in Unity there is strength; together we can move mountains and this is what we are experiencing since the beginning. We highly encourage youngsters to continue the work of our elders, we aim at a new generation that grows by helping each others instead of waiting for others to help us.
